HearSkins began as a bold idea: to help people with hearing loss express individuality rather than conceal it. From the beginning, our collaboration went far beyond design—it was about helping bring an entirely new category of product to life in a new and innovative fashion. Gateways worked hand-in-hand with the founder and team to define the physical specifications and engineering needed to produce durable, precisely cut vinyl stickers compatible with hearing aids. At the same time, we led the development of the brand itself—its name, identity, and visual direction—ensuring every aspect reflected the mission of empowerment and self-expression.

Our creative and strategic teams shaped the full brand experience, from imagery and packaging to tone of voice and digital presence. We built a comprehensive design library of over 50 unique patterns across 25 SKUs, each tailored to different audiences and styles—from youthful and vibrant to subtle and refined. Every design reinforced the HearSkins ethos of amplifying identity, not hiding it. Our brand strategy work ensured that this creative vision translated seamlessly across retail channels, digital storefronts, and community engagement efforts, resulting in a brand that both resonates emotionally and performs commercially.

The products have since become a major success, now sold on Amazon, Etsy, and through online retailers in both Europe and the United States. HearSkins has also grown into a wholesale partner for major hearing aid brands, operating across multiple distribution channels and with placement in audiology clinics throughout the country. Beyond the product line, our partnership extended into HearSkins’ nonprofit initiatives, helping craft messaging and visuals that support hearing health awareness and inclusion. This full-spectrum collaboration—from product engineering to brand storytelling—highlights how our team bridges design, strategy, and social purpose to help mission-driven brands stand out and succeed.
